1) Pick a suitable Biography topic (person) by Tuesday January 8th to bring non-internet materials by Wed. Jan. 9 (I didn't get to this officially today, though many students have run their ideas by me)

**I had hoped your children would discuss with you a good person to investigate.  In other words, some people have more material available about them because they're so iconic.  Others (IE: the newest person) might be too new to the scene to really have their story all told.  If your child has chosen a person and you know there are non-internet materials available, but it might take an extra day or two to get them, that's ok, so long as they understand that they should be striving to use more than just the internet to research.  Also, I hope it is assumed that I would never expect anyone to buy books or other materials.  I have seen many subjects successfully researched with materials from the local libraries.

2) Math - Grade 6 sheets D8 and 9 due Wed.

3) Math Grade 6 sheet D 10 and Grade 7 p. 171 due Thursday

Just a reminder that we have PE on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and students need to come prepared with their proper gym strip on those days.
