Please share novel study assignments and dates with parents for Tuesday


***The above note is what is is on the homework board.  To expand on this thought, we started a new novel study today.  The theme is survival in the wilderness.  Over the next several weeks the students will each be reading one exciting book and complete a number of assignments.  The students have the due dates of all of the assignments.  Ample school time will be given every day to work on the assignments (how many times can I work the word assignments into this blog?).  I look forward to seeing the work each student does as we move forward.

I noticed on a newsletter that went home to youngest and only children that photo money will be accepted on Monday.  Originally the deadline was Friday, but that is a Pro-D, so if you didn't see it in the notice, just be aware that you can get the money in on Monday, too.

Please note a change in the process for writing work in the planner.  Every time something new is put on the homework board, I want the students to write it down that day.  Any day thereafter that it remains on the homework board, I have said they could skip to the day it is due to write it in once to save them time.
