1) Sketch 2 (four quadrants of theme-coloured shapes, each no larger than a loonie or twoonie) due Monday Nov 2

2) Math quiz on Factors, Multiples, Abundant Numbers, etc. Wednesday Nov 4 (kids know basically what is on this, but we will review this week as well and I'm hoping for some study time on Friday).

3) Remember to bring a helmet (bike is fine) and a second pair of clean shoes for Curling starting next Tuesday and continuing for the following three Tuesdays.  We do still need drivers, as well, please.

4) Bring materials for Yeast Science Lab for Tuesday

1) Math quiz Wednesday.  In case you're not sure, here is what is on the quiz:  divisibility tests, prime and composite numbers, twin primes (EG: 3 and 5, 11 and 13), reverse primes (17 and 71), Adding two primes to make a composite (5 + 7 = 12), multiplying to primes to get a composite and prime factorization (2 x 2 x 3 = 12).  Seems like a lot, but it's really pretty manageable.  There haven't been a lot of sheets either yet.  We did a lot of work and took notes together as a group.
