What a wonderful ceremony today.  I was happy to see so many parents were able to make it.

We've done very well to clean our classroom as much as we can to this point. For tomorrow, we will do a few things, but if anyone wants to bring in a game in case time presents itself, I am game for that.

Our ceremony for the Grade sevens is after recess tomorrow (around 10:45).  Hopefully parents will be able to attend.

I have said that if we finish everything else, there might be some time to play a game or two, so if kids want to bring in easy, appropriate games for tomorrow or Thursday, they may (perhaps there will be no time, but who knows?  It's always hard to tell this time of year).

It is really important that the kids who haven't turned in their Origin Stories get them in to me Monday so I can mark them for Report Cards!  I would also need any old work and Rome work turned in.

*1) Please read chapter 29 of Ear Eye and Arm for Monday (It's only about seven pages)

*2) Just a reminder, there will be no Spelling Pre-List needed for Monday; I hope your kids learned some great words this year!

The kids have worked so hard preparing for their Sports day stations.  Hopefully we will see you all there at some point tomorrow.

3) This Friday will be the last Band class of the year.  If you want to, your child can leave his or her instrument at school and it will be returned to the rental location when Mr. Mallett visits next Tuesday to talk to the Grade fives about Band.

Hello, Parents: We still need drivers/supervisors for our Gr 7 trip to Playland.  Currently, we have 3 parents who can provide rides/supervision for 11 students (if the one student who said this morning their parent could drive brings back the permission form with the driver portion included), but will need 17 kids accounted for if we are to make this a go.  Unfortunately, we cannot take every parent owing to the cost for admission; it would be ideal if one more parent was able to drive six kids.  Failing that, we might be able to afford two more parents who could stay all day, and then each parent would be supervising 3-4 kids for our stay there.  If we suddenly get a deluge of volunteers, I might have to do a draw or give preference to someone who could drive six kids at once (which might not be realistic, I realize). Thank you
