My apologies for not writing this past week; my absence was unavoidable.  I left a good amount of work for TOCs to do with the class.  We made a list as a class of the important work today and we will mark much of that as a group where possible on Monday.  While I am not listing that work here on the blog, I believe ample school time was given to complete it, and any work that is not completed (barring a student's absence), I would expect that work to be finished on their own time soonafter.

For today, all we have is:

*1) Page 56 Gr. 7 SS for Monday (this was done with a TOC this week and everyone said they wouldn't have any trouble finishing it)

*2) Students know about upcoming quizzes and tests - math quiz both grades; Gr. 7 SS test; Gr. 6 SS and Science quiz - specific dates to be given next week and where needed, study time in class will be given

In addition, I am trying to wrap up my first term grades.  As such I sent some kids home on Wednesday with notes to parents, but not every note made it there. I encourage you to check your child's planner tonight to see if perhaps they owe me anything for first term.  Thanks.

I just put the fact that Friday is a Pro-D together with the Grade 7 Science test scheduled for that day.  I will have to bump that test until Monday November 24th.  My apologies for any inconvenience.

Hello.  What a busy day.  Lots of time to get caught up on the different projects we have on the go.  I can tell you that we have been having our wireless network upgraded in the last two days, so many students could not print off their Journal #6 for the novel study yesterday when it was officially due.  Due to that unforeseen problem, any Journals that were not turned in yesterday were not late if they came in today.  However, I noticed several students did not turn them in today (and they had lots of time to work on them).  At this time of year, it's very important to keep up to date with the work.
