 Tonight's blog might appear to have a lot of homework.  However, upon further investigation, at least two are organizational only and regarding the other eight, some of the assignments are quite old (Halloween sketch "Oscar" and Christmas sketch, for example).  Children who have paced their work out should have no trouble keeping up with the due dates.  If you have any questions or concerns about these, please feel free to contact me at school. 


1) We will be painting in class Jan. 27 and Feb. 3

2) Memorized poem presented Friday Jan. 20

3) Oscar sketch due Friday 20 Jan.

4) Christmas sketch Wed. Jan. 25

5) PSNs due Monday Jan. 23

6) Science p. 32 Qs due Monday Jan. 23 (several students turned in to a TOC yesterday)

7) Goals and Review of Term 1 Goals due MondayJan. 23

8) Math p. 43 was due Thursday (we will mark on Friday just so kids had a chance to ask me for help due to my absence on Wed).

In addition, p. 47 Multiplying fractions is due Monday (was originally said by the TOC to be due Friday, but again, giving kids a chance to ask for help if needed).

9) Two weeks from now, I want to do a French project that will involve cutting up pictures (funny, realistic, cartoon, etc.).  I'm informing now, so kids have a chance to bring in old magazines, etc. closer to the week of Jan 30th.

In addition, I just wanted to make a note to remind parents that if their child is going home for lunch, please send a note with them that day.  I can think of a few children whose parents at the start of the year indicated on the form that went home that their child would occasionally be going home.  For other children, who would be going home only on occasion, please send a note.  It's a safety precaution, just so we know where your children are.  Thank you
